Abstract High resolution Forest Area Map 2006 of the demonstration site Thessaloniki - Sophia - Romanian border with an overall size of 10180 sqkm. The site is located in the Southern part of the Euroland transect EU-07 and comprises of NUTS-3 administrative units. The Forest Area Map describes all forests with a crown cover of 10-100%, plus temporarily un-stocked forest areas; FAO definition applied. Produced by Geoapikonisis SA.
